1st edition of Master the Technique BY SHOULDER.PT – Dynamic Anterior Stabilization took place on Saturday, July 15, 2023, in Lisbon, Portugal.
This international advanced course presents the Dynamic Anterior Stabilization (DAS) using the Long Head of the Biceps Tendon (LHB) by lectures and re-live demonstrations by world-renowned international faculty who are experts in the technique.
You can perform the surgical technique at the anatomy stations of the Anatomy Institute of the School of Medicine of the University of Lisbon.
The course is an expert level course for orthopaedic surgeons who are experienced in shoulder arthroscopy. The aim of the course is to provide tips and tricks from the experts and help you improve your skils in performing DAS using the LHB. One week in advance of the date of the course, you will receive the technical notes and video links of the specific DAS techniques that will be presented and practiced during the course.
The course accreditation has been granted by ESSKA and by the Portuguese Shoulder and Elbow Society, and was requested to and is awaiting approval by Ethical MedTech.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES:
– attendance to the morning re-live surgery lectures and discussion session – attendance to the afternoon cadaveric lab session – lunch, coffee and tea break
The number of participants is limited to up to 20 participants for the in-person course.

CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations for registrations received in writing to shoulder@shoulder.pt before June 1st, 2023 will be subject to an administrative charge of € 100,-. After this date, no refunds will be provided.
LETTER OF INVITATION A letter of invitation for VISA purposes can be obtained after your registration process has been completed. Contact the secretariat with your request by sending full name, address, passport number and date of birth to shoulder@shoulder.pt The letter will be sent to you by e-mail as a PDF file. CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE The digital certificate of attendance of the in-person course will be automatically sent to the participant’s email one week after the course.
